Offer Free Diabetes Testing

On Thursday, Nov. 20, Veterans Memorial Hospital Diabetes Coordinator, Teresa Myers, RN, will be visiting Quillin’s Food Ranch in Waukon to perform free blood sugar diabetes tests to the shoppers in the store during National Diabetes Month.
 
These free tests will be available on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. 
 
The Quillin’s in-store free health testing is held the third Thursday of each month.  A different free health test is offered each.  There is no fasting required for any of these tests.  All tests have immediate results and any high readings will be referred to a physician for a more detailed test.
