Supervisors Okay Bid for Repairs

The Allamakee County Board of Supervisors, in regular session this past week, accepted the low bid for roof repairs and tuck-pointing at Makee Manor. Interstate Roofing of Onalaksa, Wis. won the project, totaling $7,692.

Members of the board accepted and approved a proclamation presented by Jana Blomberg of Helping Services declaring the week of November 16 - 22 Northeast Iowa Tobacco Awareness Week.

In other business, the supervisors canvassed the  Nov. 4 general election results.
